Caribbean Packaging Industries Limited (CPI)

Established in 1954, Caribbean Packaging Industries Limited (CPI) has grown from a small facility in its early days to one of the leading packaging suppliers in the Caribbean.

The pioneering foresight of our founders continues to this day and among the many firsts with which we are credited is the design and manufacture of banana boxes in this region. This foresight is ever present in today's liberalised, global economy and we are constantly searching for ways to add value and service to our customers.

Our recent ISO 9001:2000 certification reflects our commitment to improving all levels of service to our customers. Recent plant and equipment upgrades reflect our desire to be the leading provider of corrugated technology in the Caribbean, but more important are the levels to which we are committed in human resource development and improvement.

Today CPI manufactures corrugated cartons and fittings including such items as banana boxes, soft drink trays and point of purchase display units; paper bags specifically printed for flour, rice and sugar; plain and printed grocery bags; chipboard partitions for the separation of glass bottles; multi-wall paper sacks and baler bags for sugar, rice, flour and animal feed. All of our manufactured products are environment-friendly, recyclable and biodegradable.

With state-of-the-art equipment, CPI has the best equipped packaging plant in the Caribbean, comparable to many in the United States, Europe and the United Kingdom. Our direct exports reach nearly every major island in the Caribbean as well as countries on the South American continent.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our services & products and offer a 5 day delivery service on all domestic repeat orders. Our printing capabilities are a particular area of expertise and in many areas we are as good as any global company in the post-print process. We can meet many of your advertising and marketing requirements.

Our commitment to serving and developing our markets outside of Trinidad & Tobago continues to grow and we are a past winner of the Prime Ministers Export Award for export growth. Our coverage of the Caribbean is extensive as we bring all of our expertise and knowledge to bear from each of our companies.

Many of our customers are globally known names - Nestle, Unilever, Coca Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Nabisco - to name but a few. Indigenously, many of our other customers are the cream of the Caribbean's big brands who themselves are successful on a global scale.

Our capital investments over the last two years attest to the fact that we are committed to being the leading packaging supplier in the Caribbean for many years to come. Our investments have been in all areas of our plant to ensure that we are capable of meeting the many diverse needs of our existing and future customers.
